Upon discussion with the client and initial viewing of the property, a plan is devised to ensure the client's goals are met. This could involve any number of strategies. The list below outlines some of the topics covered in this initial process.

- Contact persons / Level of autonomy
- Use of outside consultants/trades

Sales Consultancy and Logistics
Parameters are set as to the items that are actually for sale.
Family allocation completed prior to any sales.
Reserve pricing discussed, if relevant. Management of funds formulated and authorised.
Marketing strategy agreed.
Time critical dates set.
Constant communication with Real Estate Agents, Stylists, Tradespeople is a priority to meet time frames in a cost-effective manner.
Catalogue House Contents
In some cases, sales may not be required immediately. Catalogues can be developed to ensure items of value are accounted for at all times. Provenence of antique/family pieces is noted for later valuation and family distribution. Notes may include origin / allocation to family member/ current market value.
All communication, financial transactions and agreements are carefully filed for reference.
